I believe that I first started sounding the alarm about the Muslim Brotherhood about 15 years ago. Back in 1928, Hasan al-‐Banna (d. 1946), founded the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. They were voted into power in Egypt in 2011-2012 election. Many politicians in the US were saying that it was a basically harmless organization, a moderate Muslim group. The Muslim Brotherhood was overthrown in 2013 and outlawed as a terrorist group. There was a hearing on August 5, 2026 to educate the US public about the activity of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States. It seems like most people have little interest in this topic, but all of us should want to know what is going on right here in the USA.
The objectives of the Muslim Brotherhood are the following:
- Submission to God as the priority
- The Qur’an as the political constitution
- The prophet Muhammad as the model
- Jihad as the way of life
- Death for the cause of God as the highest honor
